This is no “barn find” the condition of this motorcycle was completely intentional from the day it was purchased new by the owner in 1976. They had a collection of many motorcycles kept in heated garages through out the area they lived with no light coming in at all, so that the paint would not fade. His family had no idea that he had this collection of motorcycles until the day he died about four years ago. The estate found direct debits for the rental of all the premises that housed his machines and his family discovered his passion after his death. When I first saw the motorcycle, I thought it must have been repainted, but investigations revealed that it is completely original. Original Honda CB750K6
This original Honda CB750K6 is unique, as the light has not degraded the clock faces or any of the paint on the bodywork. Even the frame paint looks like new and it’s only when you realise there are some very small chips on the frame and see the bonding coat that it’s clear that the paint is original. I have never seen a machine in such original condition that’s been kept so well preserved from new, there is almost no degradation at all. Every tax disc is present from the day it was bought new and the owner’s handbook is present underneath the saddle. The original Acorn mirrors are still present and in excellent condition. Even the chinagraph paint on many of the fixings at the factory to prove that they have been correctly torqued down is still visible. The HM341 stamped original exhausts are still present and in superb condition with just a small repair to one exhaust which is negligible. this is a unique opportunity to own a great piece of motorcycling history unlike any other unrestored Honda CB750K6 in the world.
